1. Who you are contracting with
Calacy is operated by Calacy in Sweden. Using the service means you accept these terms. Contact: [email protected].
2. What the service does
Calacy watches public listings on marketplaces you choose, checks them against filters you set, and sends you an alert when something matches. Optionally it estimates a resale price from comparable listings, and — only if you switch it on — can place an order on your behalf within limits you set.
3. You need to be 18 and use your own account
One account per person. Keep your password to yourself; anything done through your account is treated as done by you. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has access.
4. Marketplaces are independent of us
We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Vinted, Plick, Blocket, FromJapan or any other marketplace. Automated access can break those platforms' own terms of service, and they may restrict or close accounts that use it. If you connect your marketplace account for auto-buy or auto-accounting, you are accepting that risk knowingly, and it stays your risk. Watching listings happens from our servers, not from your account.
5. Estimates are estimates
Resale prices, margins and profit figures are calculated from comparable listings. They are not appraisals, not advice and not a promise of a sale. Every purchase decision is yours, and so is every purchase.
6. Auto-buy
Off by default, and dry-run first. If you enable live buying, you set the maximum price and the daily cap, and orders placed within those limits are your orders — you pay for them and you deal with the seller. We are not a party to the transaction.
7. Payment, trials and cancellation
Plans are monthly and charged in advance through Stripe. A trial requires a card; if you do not cancel before it ends, the plan starts and is charged. You can cancel any time in the dashboard and keep access until the end of the period already paid for. We do not refund a period that has been used, and prices can change with notice for the next period.
8. Fair use
Do not resell or share access, do not scrape our API beyond your plan's limits, do not attempt to break the service or other customers' accounts, and do not use Calacy for anything illegal. Requests are rate limited; sustained abuse ends the account.
9. Availability
We aim to run continuously and we do not promise it. Marketplaces change and block; there will be maintenance and there will be outages. No uptime figure is guaranteed unless it is agreed in writing.
10. Liability
The service is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost profit, missed listings, purchases you regret, or action taken against your marketplace account, and our total liability is capped at what you paid us in the previous three months. Nothing here removes rights you have as a consumer that cannot be signed away.
11. Ending the agreement
You can delete your account whenever you like. We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, or stop the service entirely with reasonable notice and a refund of any period paid for but not delivered.
12. Law
These terms are governed by the law of Sweden, and disputes belong to its courts. Your data is covered by the privacy policy.
